Note in your blog the public health importance of the Clean Water Act:
In 1972, the Clean Water Act came into existence. Prior to this, there was already an act made in order to address water population. With the 1972 Act, there were many amendments made which included retaining present requirements in order to ensure water quality and setting basic regulations regarding the discharging of pollutants into water. This act was extremely important for public health because it ensured safe and clean drinking water. Prior to this, water contained many contaminants that could be detrimental to people's health and their safety. By allowing safe and clean drinking water, people are less likely to get sick after ingestion of water. It also lowers risk of people getting parasites as well.
I agree the clean water act is very strong and it is very helpful to make sure that people are healthy. In the things they drink and the things they eat.
