Where are the sewage treatment facilities in your community?
In San Jose, Ca, there is one major sewage treatment facility. The facility is the San Jose-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility. This facility works 24/7 and is the largest advanced wastewater treatment facility in the western part of the US. It treats an average of 110 million gallons of wastewater per day. This facility serves 1.4 million residents and over 17,000 businesses. It is located at 700 Los Esteros Rd, San Jose, CA 95134.
Good to know that there is a sewage treatment plant pretty close to home. I am in Santa Clara and it is good to know that my county takes this seriously and does the work to keep us safe.
