I live in Santa Clara County. While looking online, I found the Environmental Programs page for this county which discussed various programs. The ones on this specific website included resident resources, green business resources, urban runoff pollution prevention, construction and demolition debris, commercial garbage recycling, and residential garbage and recycling. I would consider all of these to be Environmental Health Services because they help keep our environment safe which also helps keep us safe.
It's cool that they have programs that match the nature of businesses in your area. I think that's one thing public health offices need to do more of to help protect the environment.
